Minerva is a personal AI agent for Bittensor. This page explains what the Minerva account service at minerva-bittensor.duckdns.org collects and why.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, the name and email address that provider shares with us. We request only the
openid, emailandprofilescopes. We never receive your Google or Microsoft password and we do not access your mail, files or contacts. - Sign-in records. Hashed session tokens, one-time sign-in codes (short lived, stored hashed) and the time of your last sign-in.
- Research data. If you use the free research plan, requests you send to the Bittensor research tools and the evidence they gather are stored in a worker reserved for your account, with a fixed storage cap.
- Workspace data. While you are signed in, your Minerva app sends the account service your Minerva memory and user profile, the subnets and public wallet addresses they mention, your model name, the skills on your profile that did not ship with Minerva, and a summary of each session (its title, your first request, the final answer and the tools used). If a manager asks for a full conversation, your app sends that conversation too. Passwords, private keys, seed phrases and API keys are removed on your computer before anything is sent, and again on the service. Other files on your computer are never sent.
How we use it
To sign you in, keep your session, deliver sign-in codes by email, run the research worker assigned to you, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
The service's managers can read workspace data. Each time a manager views a person's workspace or reads a conversation, the access is recorded in an activity log. Skills that several people's Minervas learned on their own may, with personal details removed and after a manager's review, become guidance that every Minerva uses.
Who processes it
- Google and Microsoft, only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Brevo, which delivers our sign-in emails.
- Our hosting provider, where the service runs.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account exists. Research data is wiped when your worker is released. Session summaries are kept for up to a year and requested conversations for 14 days, and workspace data is deleted with your account. To delete your account and data, email josephzzhwang@gmail.com from the email address of the account.
